Funny Tommy .. I think its the scotts.. as my grandmother was Scottish
and i am the same way...her name was Dorothy Annette MCRonald.. and wow
was she frugle.
I just thought about her.. Nana was cost sensitive but raised 6 kids as
they lived in Bermuda.. her father was in the scorttish rite
POP my Grandfather was Italian and portuguse.. Bermuda was and is a
British ruled island..
The Douglas family has been there 400 years an dKirks wife was from

I just Found a pic my mom had signed by Linda Darnel as the martin Girls
hung out with her at the uso tours at the Milliatary bases in ww2 ..
mater of fact why we are in Toedo OHIO is because the Girls married USA
GIs that where in the Navy, Marines and army, and air force..
POP my Grandfather John Francis Martin was in ww1 as a doughboy Brit
soldier.
so my point is I think you are totally correct regarding purchases..also
I think perhaps they feel more secure dealing with Bruce stateside for
customer service and he has a greta reputation as having good service..
Maybe stress they can return the item if not happy or the free shipping
aspect.or get endorsed by the learn about posters people Sue and ed?I
think the distance is the factor of why there would be resistance so
give them some extra service and I think you sales will
increase..remember Bruce has high costs as he has employee s and
overhead..so i think people pay a little more with Bruce for the comfort
factor..which i do the same when i take my car a toyota to the dealer vs
a smaller car shop..
when I shop for anything...the scottish in me comes right to the
surface..so I hear ya..retail prices and i dont get along,,LOL:)
my Dads side was pure sicilian..so im really a mess..:)
