Hi Nathalie: Yes, he was indeed kind and a true gentleman. Soon after he passed away I was getting groceries and I was right underneath the stores PA system. All of a sudden the Jackson Five song ABC that Deke wrote came on the PA system. I thought Deke is living on with his extreme musical talent with Motown and Berry Gordy and The Corporation.
