It contains 279 "rolled" posters (that can be sent in regular tubes), PLUS paperbacked posters *PLUS *a great collection of 22x28 "personality" posters (that ship in flat packages), and you really won't believe how many ultra-rare items are included! This is because I made a massive effort to "keep out" items that really aren't "worthy" of being in a "major" auction, so just about every item here is truly special (very desirable and/or rare) and it is why there are "only" 279 items. These were created by all the major studios between 1912 and the late 1940s to promote their top stars, but very, very few of them survive. Not familiar with these? These 99 were collected starting in the mid 1980s, and the collector who assembled this collection tried to "upgrade" condition whenever possible over the years, so many of them are in excellent condition (sometimes likely the best surviving example), and on the ones where they are in lesser condition, it is because the collector never could find one in better condition! Now he has consigned them to us, and they will find new owners. If they were kept together, they would surely make an incredible display for the walls of any place where lots of people gather, like a museum, a restaurant, or any similar place. These are either paperbacked or gelbacked. Sometimes this is done onto a fairly heavy backing, and other times with very light backing, but because they have restoration that could get damaged by being rolled we require that they all must be shipped in large flat packages. There are a *LOT *of wonderful titles included (from all years and genres), so be sure to look these over! 3) This Part IV also contains 14 Star Wars posters, including some excellent ones, like the Star Wars Concert poster (signed by John Williams!), two different Return of the Jedi printer's tests (one the incredibly rare "white title" style) and more.
