We were consigned a collection of 1,100 lobby cards from a single collector, and we had 101 of them in our March Major Auctions, and the rest of them are in this special "single owner" auction, and then they are all gone! This amazing collection came from a collector in Australia (which is why several have Australian ratings or snipes) and there are LOTS of ultra-rare cards you likely NEVER have seen at auction (or only saw once, or only saw many years ago). Note also that, the person who owned the cards was a "amateur restorer", and a number of the cards have his repairs (usually tape on the front or back, and other sorts of amateur repairs). This means that a number of the cards are in lesser condition, and most of them have some degree of his amateur restoration. You can do the same thing for the 25 cards from Lana Turner films, the 21 from Judy Garland films, the 18 from Errol Flynn films, the 16 from James Cagney films, the 15 from Humphrey Bogart films, the 161 cards from the 1930s (or the 621 from the 1940s), and on and on! Using these Search Filters well makes your time spent in our galleries FAR more productive, and once you get used to them, you won't know how you ever lived without them (and there is NO other auction site that has similar Search Filters that work like ours do!).
