Starting Monday, July 15th, we at eMoviePoster.com will be DOUBLING the
number of days that our U.S. customers can keep items held in our Pay &
Hold program
We are announcing another *MAJOR* change to our "Pay and Hold Program"
(which all U.S. buyers will love!). Back on 02/18/2019 we announced that we
were expanding the duration of U.S. Pay and Holds to 4 weeks (from 3
weeks), and expanding the duration of non-U.S. Pay and Holds to 8 weeks
(from 6 weeks). This was met with great happiness from those of you who buy
from us regularly. Now we are making another change. We were doubling the
duration of U.S. Pay and Holds to *EIGHT* weeks (from 4 weeks).
*THIS IS IN EFFECT IMMEDIATELY, SO ALL EXISTING FOUR WEEK U.S. AUTOSHIPS
WILL HAVE FOUR EXTRA WEEKS ADDED TO THEM*.
*ARE YOU CURRENTLY USING "PAY AND HOLD" BUT ARE NOT COMBINING IT WITH
"AUTOSHIP"?* We strongly urge you to consider doing so. Using it, you can
pay for your purchases and then have them held and automatically sent to
you on a regular basis (as noted above, the standard "autoship pay and
hold" is *NOW* eight weeks both in the U.S. and outside the U.S., but if
you want them sent to you more frequently, you could instead ask for "one
week autoship pay and hold" or "two week autoship pay and hold" or "four
week autoship pay and hold" and then we automatically send all your Pay and
Hold purchases on that schedule. More and more of our customers are using
this, and they all agree it is the greatest thing since sliced bread, so if
you are not using it, why not sign up, and we know you too will see how
much easier it is, and how much money it saves you.
*However, please remember this is the "Pay and Hold" program and NOT the
"Buy and Hold" program.* We still need you to pay for your purchases in a
timely fashion (at the most every two weeks), because we need to pay our
consignors promptly, so that they will keep sending lots more great stuff
to auction!
So here is how the "Pay and Hold Program" now works for *ALL* those
participating in it (both U.S. customers and non-U.S. customers):
1) You can buy as many items from our auctions as you want over a period of
up to eight weeks, and not have any of it shipped until 8 weeks from the
first purchase you made.
We will keep your "flat" items separate from your "rolled" items, so
you will have a "flat Pay and Hold" and a "rolled Pay and Hold" each going
during that time, and they may come due at different times, but each *MUST* be
shipped 8 weeks after your oldest purchase of each kind.
2) You *MUST* pay for your purchases at least every two weeks to remain in
the Pay and Hold program. This means, that for three two week periods you
will need to pay for your purchases over the past two weeks, and then,
after the fourth two week period, you will pay for the past two weeks'
purchases *PLUS* the cost of shipping them.
3) You will be astounded how much this saves you in shipping (if you are a
regular buyer). However, since this means we will only be sending you
packages every two months or so, you have to be understanding of two
things. One is that, when the 8 weeks are up, you can't ask us to add a few
more items that you won while your items were being quoted. They will *HAVE*to
go in your *NEXT* Pay and Hold. This is because this endless "adding a few
items" greatly slows down our shipping department, so we can't do it
anymore. If you want your orders to be sent on time, you need to be
understanding of this.
The other thing you need to understand is that we will (as always) be
partially packing each set of wins (to keep them from getting damaged while
they are waiting to be shipped), and then we will (as always) solely be
assembling the wins together *WITHOUT* removing the "extra" packaging. If
we had to remove the items from their partially packed state and then
assemble them together, we could never offer Pay and Hold at all, so you
need to be understanding of this, and accept that you almost surely
*WILL* receive
some extra packaging (boards and/or brown paper), but you at least can
reuse that packing material.
4) If you are not a very regular buyer, you will still greatly benefit from
having 8 weeks before your order is shipped. Why? Because say you bought
two or three flat items (or two or three rolled items) from us several
weeks apart. Under the old system, you would pay two or three shipping
charges to get them sent to you.
But *NOW*, as long as you request Pay and Hold after the first
purchase, you will have 8 full weeks to possibly add to that item, and
those added items can be sent in the same box or tube (as long as it is
safe to do so), and you will now pay just one shipping charge rather than
two or three!
5) *OF COURSE*, your items don't *HAVE* to be held eight weeks. You
*ALWAYS* have
the option, at any time, to let us know that you are ready to have your Pay
and Hold items shipped, and when you tell us that, we will get you shipping
quotes for them. But you can't "change your mind"! Once you request quotes,
we can't then hold those items longer, so only request quotes when you are
*CERTAIN* you are done buying for a while.
But if you wait the full 8 weeks, you *DON'T* have to request shipping
quotes. We will let you know when the 8 weeks are up and get your items
quoted!
