I once bought an entire periodical department of the library
That was also over 100,000 magazines It was the Monroe County Library in
Monroe Michigan
It was every kind of magazine you could think of
They were discontinuing the library
Same thing when I bought out the front library I'm 16mm films Including
the racks And two Film inspection machine
inspection and cleaning machines Linwood Dunn asc Who put can combine
the Empire State building For Willis O'Brien
Said to me Tom So all the films it's all going digital,
The divorce inspires you to move very quickly When you have nowhere to
go
I had to sell industrial printing equipment, Ten thousand dollar
conveyor dryers
Screen printing equipment
I got to the point I rented a apartment with the garage
And hand dried the screen printed items on the floor
What I bought my new house
I Finally was able to set up a small area To manufacture my items again
Picture me And a apartment In Perrysburg Ohio, That was just built by
the Amish
I rented it for $915 a month Headed two car attached garage, The
next-door neighbors would go to work
I would screen prints and hope that nobody could smell it, Then run my
drill press And hold nobody could hear
The manager of the apartment
Had a bitter divorce And then neighbors Never complained
As they were on the right side of me I was the end unit The left was
upon
With ducks and geese
The apartment was beautiful I had two bedrooms, vaulted ceiling Two
bathrooms
one bedroom into my office
That was a real bachelor pad..
But it was way out And the birds
I had to drive 15 miles to get to my PO Box
Which is the same one I still use

Now about the video posters, I always sold Anything and everything
related to movies
Because I love the entire industry
So I had an auxcillary warehouse About three thousand four thousand
square five
It was unheated I started about 500 movie projectors, And all kinds of
film related equipment
And I stored the video posters
Toledo has a depot Four vpd Video products distribution Company from
California and
That had about three major hubs around the country
One day The manager of the company came in To my shop And said how would
you like to buyAll our access posters each month, Regardless of the
titles I had to take everything So that's how I am asked so many posters
at once
Some of the titles like Warner Bros.
We're actual theatrical release posters
Others were different art, As you know video posters were considered
kindNot collectible when it first came out
But I like them Because some of the art was actually better For the
classic release posters
For old titles Wizard of Oz in Casablanca, The searchers, Chinese
connection
And then some for hip movies pulp fiction
So I would sell Wholesale to dealers
Or even trade with some dealers for titles they hadn't quantity
I still do that, And I can sell them
At very reasonable prices Like six bucks
But when you have flat posters Step 5 foot high piles Need to reach a
box
It's at the bottom It's a lot of work especially in the wintertime
With no heat I pulled chest muscles Because each box has about two
hundred and four hundred
What movie posters... I even had a pallet racks To hold the weight
We are very heavy...
Warehouse cost me two and $250 a month So when I got the divorce
I thought if I downsize That's the cost of a car payment So that's what
I decided to sell the posters and a lot
Just keep a small quantity ...
The key was finding someone to buy on thousand posters a lot....
Finally I found a couple memorabilia dealers
I gave them a deal they couldn't refuse 10 cent each They took a lot
that was 10K Which I don't lost As I had to spend my 20 K not stag
And doctor bills, And to get my house correct at the time
But to me It was a miracle from God
I was able to buy another house, Carr
And like you Get medical treatment Which may have cost in the millions
Doctor who reconstructed my foot Is a world famous Military doctor
From Dallas Texas, Is the chair Southwestern University, Getting my
operation at you UPMC in Pittsburgh,PA
My apartment Was across the street from VPD,,,, And they supply all the
video trains
Like Redbox, Blockbuster, Family video, You name it
They handle the whole Midwest sector, So each month
They would call me up Say come pick up the posters
Some of them were real dog titles, But to some people as you know
They might want him for And actor or It's an obscure title
To get an idea of what hundred thousand posters look like And weight It
was 13 pallets 5 foot high each
I had to rent forklift.. And I had to ship out west Container By
train
You load the empty container up then And put it on a back of a train
Flat
If I remember right It was pretty reasonable Like $2000
Arrived safely Forget the names of the guys who bottom from me it was so
long ago that was 20 years ago
There's a lot of good video posters And now video is about God
I was very lucky I like your routing
I think God, And Jesus Every day
I cannot believe I even got this far
I'll be 64 for this year
I started this when I was 20...
I've been through several Recessions, Health issues
Lost love, Trademark litigation, I can't begin to tell you how many
people told me to put the business
Because some of my customers Who I thought it had all the intelligence

What out of business themselves, Like media play,Suncoast pictures,I'm

Many may not know this But I named my company Hollywood dream factory®
After watching a documentary film
Made in 1972 Call Hollywood the dream factory - Narrated by Dick Kim
It was about the MGM auction in 1970
And I have a 16mm film print still love that movie
While a booking agent I would watch that movie over and over
And that's what I learned to Debbie Reynolds Was one of the major people
Who saved the artifacts from that option
I once had a suit of armor from Ben Hur
That I sold back to Hollywood by myself
What I found with dealers of movie memorabilia
We are just really out of control collectors
However when of the posters got so out of price
I stuck to the Lower end posters However I've been surprised
And how the posters I've saved Have gone up in value
When I first started In 1977 I could buy Star Wars style eight
For three dollars :) Same with Blade Runner
Raiders of the lost Ark All the great titles
I think when I bought revenge of the jedi It was like $20
Crazy part Is the younger people
Don't seem to collect like the baby boomers did..
Now my reprints Are life 40 years old
Out-of-print, Is it from my suppliers who died...
In Many of my collectors Are open their 70s now
Some in their 80s...
I'm not sure what God has planned for me next
But I've been pretty impressed As I'm not wealthy Last still had a roof
over my head
And I'm very thankful,,,
Think Most of all For all the friends and family
And kindness The industry has shown me
Considering I seem to hold the record
For being the guy Who has made the most mistakes
My favorite part and it's a wonderful life Is at the end

I bought from Lehman Brothers I'm Hundred $113,000 And I bought

Toyota
After I lost A sale of my Oscar® That the Academy and ended up
buying
from me
For $3000 -600 for attorneys fees, Katie Holmes dad was my attorney
I thought I would have enough to buy a car As the guesstimate was
about
$19,000
So I lease the car is $276 dollars a month 20 after five years
I financed the balance $75 a month And paid off in full
Meanwhile, In 2009 The banks pulled scam Art homeowners
They told me to miss the payment So I would be eligible to get my
interest lowered
I was paying 9 1/4% interest Or $1084 a month house payment
Then, two thousand and 11 My eyes started getting bad
So that's why I started a very big health diet
Meanwhile I discovered a woman on the Internet Felt I had love But

was very strange
And more about friendship Unrequited love
Which ended After 20 years Of just emailing each other
Talk about dysfunctional I could win awards for
But somehow By the grace of God I kept getting orders
And Selling on eBay And customers that I've had for 43 years

At one point, I was dealing about six or 7000 a month
One day the phone rang in 2007
I got a large order from Arnold Schwarzenegger For clapboards Imake
Came as a great surprise That was a great shot in the arm
That was about 2007
And after that Was when I suffered the housing crunch
The local congresswoman Who also has been helping me on my China
trademark lawsuit
Was able to get my interest lowered to 5 1/2%
However,I spent half of my nest egg To make my loan current
Then what I got sick,I had to spend another half before Medicare
would
kick in
Meanwhile I had about six or seven eye surgeries The last one was
in
November
On my right eye which failed tocorrect that eye/
Then on January 8 2020 After getting a routine shot in my left die
That corects Bleeding retinas,
I went completely blind in both eyes From January 8 Around February
15
All I could think was I'm doomed/// This is it, Game over
As I couldn't defend myself in court, Because Drivers license in
August
Because of the eyes, So I learned there That I was hopeless
But then I said, God If you want me to say I know i will
If you want me to sell again... I know you'll Show me way
If you want me to have a relationship with a woman I know you will
make
it happen
And If not It will be because you have better plans for me To do
you are
well
So that I just waited
Again before my surgery November 25 Mark packo a good friend died/
His brother taught my eye doctor Retinal surgery
So I was supposed to get another surgery To remove the blood from
the
left eye
That had hemorrhaged
He called off the surgery January 21 Because my blood pressure was
too
high
I was laying on the gurney When he said your blood pressures
200/110
I had drank a glass of sodium bicarbonate the night before Because
my
stomach was upset
Sodium raises blood pressure Plus stress And I was full of anxiety
and
stress
So we have rescheduled it for February 4 Meanwhile on January 27,
My
doctor's mother died
So he was stressed I was stressed, We decided to call off surgery
And
just allowed nature to take a sway
And I just laid in bed Talk to God...
What I finally couldn't see out of the left eye///
I thought next step is getting eyeglasses,Going to the DVM I'm
retaking
my drivers license over
A lot of hurdles..
But some good things happen
I learned how to get around my house
Without having Vision
I get a lot of my business over the phone And Pay bills
I even filed my Ohio state sales tax over the phone
And I learned how to live more modestly, Eating less and Behavior
modification
I watched a lot of Christian TV shows And I understand how many
secular
people
Don't believe in God, But what was really amazing to me
With how So much seems to be following scripture
Avon met with Mormons And Jehovah's Witnesses
Who were blown away by my Secular Life Being in the entertainment
industry
But Christ told me, Love everyone, Just And unjust...The wicked and
righteous
Because we are all gods children No matter what race or nationality
gender...
My eyes were open to how much hate From all sides And that was the
real
problem
We are also judgmental towards each other
but, then The Corona virus happened Seems like out the blue
On the news today China blames the US US planes trying out
And all I can think was Well God knows the truth And if you want to
learn about it

The less we are all learning How much we depend on each other
