Autographs are really touchy
I used to carry a magazine in my shop called autograph magazine
I saved a few
As they had a lot of cool articles
Also had a lot of reputable dealers

Impossible to five Under normal circumstances
Either because some of the players didn't want to sign
Or getting them all together in one spotWas difficult
There was a book called the Christiansen's guide to our graphs
That had facsimiles of the autographs to compare
Also Many of the good autograph dealers Know the Many variations About
people sorry
Whether they used auto pen,Secretarial We're known For signing in
different ways
Like for instance Walt Disney Used a small cursive a In wall
So unless I knew We're had a good gut feel Of the Proveence i Too would
pass
I personally like to buy
Hand written letters on stationary
Four letters with envelopes and dated envelopes
Our motion picture contracts with players
I once sold a Erol Flynn Warner Bros. contract
I felt really good about that
I had a personal friend Who wanted a signed poster From the Untouchables
Boo Recit one, You asked me to find went form like your friend asked you
I found one signed by the whole cast
And told my friend I was certain that it was a reproduction movie poster

Typically needs bootleg posters Are signed in sharpie pens..
As after the 60s and 70s As soon as sharpie magic marker is
about Everybody signs with them Or paint pens
What I liked aboutPre-70s Was that you could almost tell by the

As in the 60s ballpoint pens were popular
And prior to that Most entertainers used to fountain pens
Also you can turn the photos sideways It Is independent impressions into
the photograph
And Fountain pens always seem to smear or run or leave a uneven
impression
With age they would fade also
So you almost have to be a forensic expert.. And know...How do personWas

It's always best if you can get a picture of them signing it
Which we didn't do
It never seems like it's convenient
And it conventions they seem to Hurd people through
Sometimes the best way to get an autograph is to write the person direct
and most star are very generous andloveto hear from the Fans..tellthe
friend to Google the management or star and send a letter...

say i met lewis..andthe 1st beatle drummer..etc.. not the stuff///the
memories out last the stuff before Harold Ramis passed he sent Tommy a
signed DVD of Groundhogs day..
