I hada revelation Today..see mason will be 34 dec 23, so I wanted to get
hime new microwave and a tv like a smart one...
I also was trying to upgrade my iMac to a new one ora good used one with
a Catalina..
I found the perfect one that sold intheBox for 513 .00 today
But I was reluctant Bec of spending and fact tat there are such glutton
computers..ebay helped me and said for what I dotheone o have iso..I
have two well actually like6 iMacs as I bought themwhenthey 1st came out
our 1st was a performa Macintosh 600 and before commodore 64
withdotmastrix printer Before the internet..or smart phones...LOL:) we
used tossup a catalog it would take 30 days to get orders andthenwe
would ship ups..I had daily pick ups and a personal devoured UPs sals
person..
thins you know eBay..and amazon changed it all
but somethings don't change like good customer service....sohow I do
once rolled is a 2 inch yahoo tube...theni use the Priority triangle
tubes over the inner tube..I use foam and bubble wrap and float the
poster
typically it costs 8 - 13.00 shipping most use ..overseas is crazy
prices and never know when they get as most-is like austrailia, Spain,
UK have a whole different idea of speed
Domestic I still likeyazoo tubes best.. however if I'm shipping tools of
50 may use a 4 inch tube..yazoo or even 32 x 8 x 8 box fits for 2 rools
of 50 and put a few rolls per box.
when sold the poster that came to mefromthestudios they used flat boxes
of 200 1 sheets a box..or rolls of 500 per 4 inch square tube...or 200
per triangle box..they were shipped by DHL. ups.fed ex..sometimes over
nIGHT!!!! imagine the costs back in 80s 90s/
most the studios mailed the onesies in envelopes or small boxes..or
tubes...as prior to the 90s most came FOLDED..
when ships folded I putt between 2 11x14 corrugated..thenshrink wrap the
entire pack.. then wrap in1/8 foam and float inthelargest priority box I
order fromUsps///stuffwith Drayage..andgive extra freezes..toshow
customer appreciation..it typically casts me 8-12 but..shipping
If I had to do lower cost posters under 20-30 a 2 inch tube is the
best...I dontsend 1st class on much except sometimes Canada.. event that
I prefer international priority
the shipping business has gone sky hight
so today I learn a great lessongi learned to pause..when we rush we can
make mistakes..so. I. said ok I won't buy new computer,,anvil hold off
gifts..as after Christmas are the reductions and deals of things and
people are notes rushed. even apple said they may have sales.
I realized I was being emotional..instead of smart.... as I'm not
wealthy
so I started to think whats my budget??thenconsidered the
economy..virus..andworld events like politics..and the answer was
clear..Love is not measured by stuff, spending, or volume of
sales..imho..I thought my little sale of Herbie goes to Monte Carlo for
45.00 was like platinum because I made a lady happy..anditwas delivered
inTime former to gift..while many are running like chickens with heads
cut off....freakingout panic andangery at everyone

nap..wheni walk..I felt rested..andcalmeras I didn't extend
credit...orspend in dire times..
so made a big nutritious salad..ofavocado, apples.raisin
turmeric...honey and lemon juices and olive oil..and thanked god for
giving me peace and a great answer to all the stress....my granmother
said some wise things,,Haste makes waste--grandfather told me a placer
everythingandeverthinginits place,,forgetting tools away
we can always improve and adapt
I told mason there will always be more stuff, collectors die,
movie,divorce forget sick ..so we can always get more stuff,, but
friends and love needs to be cared for like a garden..and without care
willwitherand die
just look where most collections come from....people that saved it
because they had the passion..
we are merely all stewards ofthestuff..andit gets passed on to others we
never own much anything..... eventually ill Geta newer iMac from 2014-up
or even new one...I have mold one 2006 and a newer 2011/// apple makes
great products I love them I even saved the blueberries and others Bec I
likethedesign,,Jobs eastwards were WOW!! because I believe he saw what
was next after this..and was amazed by the awesome future God has
planned for us all
