Chris,
Sorry to hear that you are another victim of that nasty microscopic bit of toxic protein. May I be the first to loudly proclaim "F**k Covid-19!!!!!"
Often and painfully.
If your frames are made by Sue's shop, they are top of the food chain. She is a gem both as an artiste and a human being and we collectors are lucky to have her (as you well know.)
Two questions:
1. Where are you located?
and
2. Will there be any posters offered in your unfortunate Covid-caused downsizing?
I hold a scintilla of hope for a better world in 2021 for you, myself, and all my fellow poster geeks.Who knows.
Much Love to All,
Greg Douglass

Welcome Chris............sad to hear that you are shutting down and of course I wish you and Mark all the best.....Yes, the majority of the frames they have for sale are all my frames and they typically include non glare
UV filtered plexiglass and acid free backing....that's the scoop.  Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Subject: [MOPO] Welcome From fffmovieposters

Hello to all MoPo readers and fans,

I am new to this forum, so this is my first message.

My name is Chris, and for the past 10+ years I have managed the site fffmovieposters.com.  We sold posters at multiple points of sale (eBay, Amazon, and our Website).

Due to covid and other concerns, we ceased our business operations in 2020.  After lengthy discussions with the owner of the business, he has decided to remain shut down.

My responsibility as the one remaining employee is to “empty” our 15,000 square foot warehouse. I am offering for sale various items including shelving (every kind you can imagine, from large industrial shelving over 10 feet high, to home center type shelving typically 6 feet high, 4 feet wide, and 2 feet deep, packaging materials, all new (cardboard boxes, cardboard shipping tubes, oversize envelopes, padded envelopes, cardboard reinforcement “flats”, and plastic poly bags by the case for poster sizes including window cards, half sheets, inserts, lobby cards and stills.  I’m also selling poly tubing by the roll (suitable for rolled one sheets), and a poly cutter and sealer), office equipment (desks, tables, chairs, etc.), computer equipment and monitors, photography equipment, an industrial scanner, etc.

In addition to the above, I have more than 500 lightweight picture frames of various sizes from still sized to three sheet and larger.  Most of the frames are one sheet sized, half sheet, insert, window card, and assorted sizes for stills.  All the frames are assembled, (no missing parts) with a white foam board backing, a shatterproof clear plexiglass front, and the metal joints and spring clips to hold everything in place.  Most of these frame parts are made up of half round satin black aluminum rails with a frame profile of 7/8 inch wide when assembled.  The lengths and widths are various according to the item that was framed. Sue from Hollywood Poster Frames was our framer for most our posters etc. over the years and she can attest to the fact that these frames are of excellent quality.

I’m even selling a 20 foot-long, 8 foot-wide and 8’6” tall steel weatherproof lockable shipping container.  We used it as an indoor vault!

Complete lists are available to anyone interested in any of the items listed for sale.

I look forward to corresponding here in the MoPo forum.

Chris
