I had only seen a few Kay Francis movies over the years but really discovered her work when TCM use to show films from the 1930's in the early morning hours. As I would get up to get dressed for work, I would turn on TCM and there would be a film with Kay Francis. I became much more knowledgeable of her film career through Nathalie, who collects material on her. She had become one of my favorite 1930's actresses. Such a classic face and a really good actress. I watching the collection of her films that TCM is offering. Tonight was One Way Passage and I hadn't seen it before but certainly understand why it was such a huge hit to depression era audiences.....
