correction the Pic pipe is 10 foot not 100
the yazoo types in the kraft are like 36 inch by 4 and 1/4 thick walls
the caps are polly stuff ends so there is a buffer on each end of a rolled 1 sheet a 4 inch diameter tube can hold 50 1 sheets rolled I ship flat folded between corrugated after I put the sheet in a sealed loose shrink-wrap and then wrap the sandwiched sheet between 2 11 x14 corrugated sheets..thenwrap in 1/16 ethafoam and then place in a priority box with eps styrofoam and float the sheet inside the Box

finally I include some vintage drive in theater tickets to make smiles and give thanks

and I put fragile stickers on the Box
I seal the box on all edges
sometimes on 3 inch Toes I placentae Triangle priority tube from the to give double protection

Been packing the same way for about 46 years
I used to tell employees ill never complain if you overpack as we get once chance as many are one of a kind items
consider it could be a Christmas present or birthday
our mission is to make customers have a great experience
Not because we have to but we want to
my PO manager who retired after 40 years Marsha who was a competitive Body Builder the Arnold Schwarzenegger classy said to me : Tom why do you give away so much and loose profit with somany customers??
I replied..Marsha. Iam investing my business..as maybe ill loose on some
however they may return and ill make up on the overall relationship or they will tell friend and all
it does get hard whether are health issues, financial, old age
covid, world unrest, and mass breakdown of the shipping service, low staffing, inflation etc///
the policy keep change at thePOmUPs etc..

so we move slower and adapt to what we can do

best To all collectors and dealers
I shipped a 1sheet for the professionals-lee Marvin to Austin TX after my foot was amputated if there is a will there is a way..now I'm dealing with snow, a old computer and vision issues
so we modify as many retire after 65 anyways...:)
I figure everything ive learned life and 10 cents may get me a coffee
IfI can help my son regroup I will feel I did something otherwise..
Adam Wests statement to me was Tom no-one really knows anything has rung true we all just guess
God bless and good luck 2022

Like Greg, I use pvc pipes to ship not only oversize posters,
including six sheets, but I ship unassembled 3 sheet frames to
customers all over the country and that tube
is usually at least 85"+ long. I buy the tubes at Lowes or Home
Depot. They sell them in the plumbing department and they come in 3"
wide mouths or 4" wide mouths
and cost about $10. You can even buy end caps for a couple of
dollars. I make my own end caps out of cardboard and secure those to
the ends of the tube with
gaffers tape.....Those same tubes are great for shipping all sizes of
posters but also for storing your own posters. Many of my framing
customers have told me they
have stored their posters in cardboard tubes for years and when they
take them out, they notice they are a bit brittle and the acid from
the cardboard tube has
yellowed their poster. I buy the 10 foot pvc pipes and cut them in
(4) equal 30" tubes, wipe out the center of the tube and store my
posters in those tubes. I put
a piece of paper on the outside of the tube so I know the contents
and they work great.....that's the scoop. Also, the main shipping on
one of those 85"+ tubes costs
me about $30-$35. If you have a poster inside, obviously you would
add insurance and a signature request for delivery which adds to the
overall cost.

Mr. Martin,

I use the PVC pipes you're taking about to ship linenbacked
posters....or , actually, non-linenbacked sizes like half sheets and
some one sheets...and they are A-bomb proof. No bitchy customers
screaming about a 1/4" dent. However, I was not aware of the 4" Yazoo
caps. I usually cobbled together a sturdy tube end using a round piece
of cardboard, clear packing tape (LOTS of it for waterproofing) and
brown packing tape as the finishing touch. I'm going to the Yazoo web
site today. Thanks, Tom.
