Most of the old guard were there. Most of the action was on Thursday when a great deal of money changed hands and some truly rare posters, lobby cards and stills emerged. I cannot name names as I do not have the buyers or sellers permission. There is no movie poster convention where there is so much activity. Yes the numbers were down but the movies were great and so was the dealer's ballroom. The movie room was jammed with more than 110 at several screenings. i counted 5 new dealers. So next year same time, same place so be there or be square!!! We had a stimulating dealer's meeting Saturday morning which produced many offers of volunteerism. The truth is that many dealers need this convention to happen.
