There are currently many images of Al Jolson from Mammy in various listings on
eBay and also a load of images of Hattie McDaniel in GWTW listings. They don’t
seem to be consistent in enforcing their policies.

Subject: [MOPO] Ebay and their offensive policy

I have thousands of stills listed. On Monday Ebay knocked off an Al Jolson in
black face. I didn't have it listed as black face, but they took it off as
offensive. I can see that could be a problem so no big deal. Then today they
knocked off 3 Hattie McDaniel stills from GWTW. I am sure some could find her
role offensive, but she was a great actress playing a part, and a good part of
a strong person. I respected her acting ability. She was not a Stepin Fetchit
type of actor, even though he was playing a character. I am white, but I would
be offended that they are trying to eliminate a great respected actress from
the Golden Age.

Not trying to start a race conversation, just my rant toward the policy. Tony
