My apologies but on my Gmail account this did not have a reply to all
option. Many other emails had the option, but I can't on my mopo post.
I agree with the responses. I have at times been ready to end all Ebay,
but I just can't pull the trigger. I have adjusted what I have done there
through the year (24 to be exact), and I can't really seem to make it
worth it. I have adapted my practices through the years. I sell mainly
items under $25 and don't have the ambition at this point to build a
website on my own, etc. I have many repeat customers and I am able to eke
out a little bit of a living. I guess I am the only one that does not have
a problem with the payout system. It took some getting used to, but I like
it that customers now have other options for payment besides PayPal. I
just have to add in any costs as I would through any other endeavor.
I have just had to adjust my pricing to try to reach a profit margin, and
hope the customers will think it worth it as well. I agree with Kirby, I
sell material at times at prices that I don't think I can get through other
means. If a better option comes up for me, I will be the first to go, but
I have not found one. I get pretty pissed at the picky nature of knocking
off these items, but it is a small matter in the big picture, I will figure
a way to get them back up, if for no other reason than as a challenge.
I don't have the material to really consign to other auctions, and Amazon
is not even a thought for me, so for now Ebay is the way to go, especially
since they increased the store volumes. Probably if I was just getting
started I would be too frustrated to hang in there through all the bs.
If there are any responses to this post I will see if I can respond
correctly, I have set my defaults.
