Thank you folks for sharing your thoughts with me and kindness
I have been doing much reflecting the last few days about life and
things that are going on in the world a few of you on the group have
shared your personal thoughts with me and I appreciate it very much as
it shows that we were all very sensitive to the world and its events and
as we age we seem to be more reflective of our pas
It was a beautiful day here in Toledo yesterday the weather was fine and
I was able to go to the store to pick up my medication for the infection
and also while I was at the store I picked up some salads and pistachios
bananas and mandarin oranges as I can fit those in a basket and carry in
my wheelchair
I always have great discussions with the cab drivers as they are from
all over the world one was from Egypt one was from Iraq and one was from
Nigeria Africa and each of them had different philosophies on life and
we're a different religions some Catholic some Muslim some Hindu it's
really an educational thin
I get free books from the library of Congress they are put on flash
drives and are audiobooks so I get to hear the books
The recent book that I listen to is by Ryan holiday called EGO is the
enemy..and he did others like Silence is the key
He was with the American apparel company a huge conglomerate that was
once one of the largest clothing companies in the United States he also
was a entertainment agent he's from Austin Texas and his ratings are
profound he also does a podcast or something called the daily Stoic
The traces throughout history from back in Julius Caesar times and
before all the famous philosophers of all time the teachings of Jesus
Christ and of all the political leaders of all times from Winston
Churchill to John F. Kennedy I think you would all find it very profound
and eye-opening to a lot of the things that p in this world today
Adam West told me Tom what you have to realize is none of us really know
it's anything we're all just guessing the best we can
The philosophers all came to the same conclusion that the more they knew
the last thing I really knew
So anyways if any of you ever have those same questions and are puzzled
by world events of current what are you found is Jesus Christ told us
everything would happen as it's been happening so it should be no
surprise to many of world events and we are all still debating what it
all means and yet it was just on the news one of the inventors of
artificial intelligence claims it is moving so fast and wrapping that he
believes that artificial intelligence will take over mankind and I agree
if you've ever tried to call customer service the policies of many
companies seem like they are being run by artificial intelligence and
that the employees don't even know how the system works in the wrong
companies hence all the frustration in customer service and why many
companies are folding or going out
I am just as puzzled as you are but I will say that there are also many
good people out there no it's about treating people right and being
honest so keep up the good work and help others regardless of what the
others are doing because it was never about you and then it was always
about you and God
