hi Bruce this is the strangest year ive ever seens matter of fact since
2017 its been odd
however i guess posters area distraction from reality..so ina way
itstherapy.. Floods??? tyhey are doingthat outwest today..i sugesty get
tubs and store the folded posterin them to avoind damadge... rolled
posters keep off floorand putin boxes with plastic covering ....i know
as my basement in feb 2023 flooded froma back up floor drrain...the tree
roots and whenthe city water system gets overloaded it backs up thru the
Floor drains... i had a wooden sub floor in my basement oak andit
covered it..my insurance said you didnt have flood insurance !!! however
they failed to Offer back up drain policy...... the claim handler told
me contact Ohio dept of insurance and the corporate company after months
the corpoate guys seemed tochange tune and offered to give me some funds
to repair the floor .i had quotes as high as 21K to do
check your policys I was told it costs 66,99 a year... however wheni
gave my car a 2006 Toyoya matrix to Tommy they raised my home owners
from 453,00a year to 850.00a year because i didnt get the bundle
deal....so i contacted other insurance companys and gota quoteof 513.00
for more coverage -back up drain includeda nda agent that is young but
seemed more focused . came to my home and i already gave his name to
another friendwho was cancelled becausehe had too many claims a 100 year
old hickory tree fell on his 1954 Desoto Classic California car on my
birthday aug 11 in 2022 my tree also dropped a limb same day.... on my
wheelchair ramp ,,,the disability center rebuilt my ramp however willie
s car was cut in half by the tree it made the news
lesson?? keep stuff protectedoff floor,,i made a solly froma oak table
to store boxes and putwheels onthe bottom to keep off floor
and moved to a dry area,,
the city gave mea Grant of 2000 called basement Flood grant to puta one
waycheck valve in and burya crock that has a auto sump pump so ifthe
water gets by the valve the pump sucks the water out to my driveway thru
the house wal...
next i will get the silver maple tree cut down in front of my home...
while i was in the hospital the house flooded in feb 2023 my son used a
pump anmd did best he could to remedy iy..bleach vinegar etc..mold
killer and fans run for months and dehumidifier
whats does not Kill us makes us stronger- RIGHT..I looked at it as God
teaches us from adversity so Trust God
I now have a new agency andi have got several tree companys with quotes
it cost 1500 to 300o to get a tree cutand stump grinded down
I had a floor guy come look and see ifwe can replacea few warped planks
and sand the floor
so hope that works as i seldom go inthe basement now anyways..ther drain
is fixed hopefully
and the greatest miracle was while inthe hospital i gota call..i had
entered a lottery to havea complete roof put on my home...you had to be
disabled ,,Old. and low income..I fit the bill.. whenthey caled they
said mr Martin you were picked out ofthelottery for the roof
program.......... i thoughtit was a scam call...howeve it was real..andi
just got the contract and they should star inthis month or next complete
tear offand 50 year shingles !!!
I give credit to jesus Christ as forsome reason i cant explain he is
helping me,,, my poor son suufed a breakdown from all the stress from
seeing his dad suffer amputation but slowly sincemy surgery in jan and a
long recovery i am healing both spiritually, mentally and physically,,it
just is hard with world in chaos
so I pray for everyone..world leaders, my friends and everoneand sure i
know it could all gosouth fast because i had bone infections and add
deaf in one earand blindness... however its been so beautiful seeinghow
Gods plan works forall of us..
so ifyou mopo people are havinga flood inyourlife,,stress or illness
remeber no one leaves witha u-haul behind the hease,,andinthe end whats
important in my opinion and jerry weintraubs and others is God,
familyand friends all the rest is transient and changes from day to day.
or even hour,, Iam so thankful for people luje on MOPO as you are
extended familyand have comforted me in some very low times..Thank YOU..
to show how we can be misunderstood a woman called me over last few
days...she had baseball cards,,i never have sold sports ever ..howeveri
try to help others by offering sources they can sell to like heritage
orinToledo Laramie and sons... i also tell them call beckett for prices
and offer ideas like donnate toa charity..the woman said youare talking
to me rude..andilltake my cards elsewhere andhung up on me...I cvalled
back and explain on voicemail i dontsell sports,,but google sends me
anyone with collectibles since my phone is the sameive had since i
started in biz over 46 yeras,,i love to hear from old customers because
they are my friends..Bob vale from box office magazine wihed mea happy
birthday on aug 11 asndf hes been retired years,,,
Friendship is the best asset of any family or business or relationship
what Bob vale told me was when he retired all the people stopped calling
him as theyleft him....
heck what ive liked mostof Mopo is whenwe talk about stuffandilearn and
we help each other over the bumps inthe road as we all have health money
family issues mental and questions like how todeal with storage,,,
orwhere to get a idea of history or numerous things...
baby steps is my answerand Trust god has a betterplan theni do...
I cant tall you how many timews wheni tell my story people day i was
just about tostop tryingand heard your stuffand saidwow if Tom can tryi
will also..andi needed to hear this
why i learned was all my mentors like Adam west, ZMel blanc , Arnold all
suffered much loss but they kept ontrying andall of the helped others
that also had adversity..
Love forgiveness, and help everyone you canas we are all brothers and
sisters no matterifyou are muslim, jewish, christian, atheist, chinese,
rusian Italian German, white -Brownblack yellow red...DNa proves we ar
