My experience with Gay people gos back two when I played with Johnny and
the hurricanes in 1974
Johnny had a stew choreography in the band and we were at the Bach
conservatory because he had his huge mirrors for Ballarrinas to do their
dance steps
Across the street who is the Esquire theater a woman named Rose Larose
brought in strippers and myself and the drummer got to see Blaze starr
live in person at the Esquire theater I was only 17
Also playing at the theater was deep throat and the devil in Mrs. Jones
All of a sudden outside of our conservatory. A Cadillac convertible
saying Johnny and the hurricanes live at Bourbon Street show bar
It was run by a woman named Tony Rome from Detroit who was I guess he
Dyke they called him back then in my days
I said Johnny Huston Bourbon St., Showbar a gay bar? He said yes he said
we will play anywhere where they want to pay us no matter if it's a gay
bar straight bar Anivar next thing I know the band and I were on a
catwalk playing for a lesbians drag queens and various gay people and
I've never met gay people in my life
We were treated with respect and it was kind of funny getting whistled
out by the audience but that was my introduction to the people
And I loved us dressed Cadillac convertible
with balloons and streamers and they were beeping their horn as they
pulled up to the conservatory to say that the drummer and I were not
embarrassed and scared to death would be an understatement
Several of the women in the show bar we're also strippers from a topless
bar down the street they invited us to come and be there just one was
named Cherokee and they were beautiful women
In the 80s when I started making costume armor for the Halloween
industry in cosplay I wanted models to pose in the armor and I could not
find any straight women that would want to pose in the armor so I
contacted a local drag queen bar because they were open to dressing in
the armor and being extravagant I said if you're posing the armor for me
I will take pictures of you because they needed publicity pictures to
get other gigs
Next thing I know they were giving out my phone number as a photographer
that would be OK with taking pictures of drag queens and what they liked
about me was because I like the old Hollywood glamour photography of
George Harrell and they love the style of the black and white with high
contrast shadows that I used
Next thing I know the drag queens were giving out my phone number and
having people come from all parts of the country to help me take the
promotional pictures because they liked my work I found them to be very
kind people and some of them are more in touch with your femininity then
a lot of women that were straight
People have to be crazy to not understand that many people in all
industries are gay such as doctors attorneys business people of all
kinds and some people are just more feminine than others same thing with
the women that are Butch and gay they are some of the nicest people I've
ever met and kind I think the problem is people confuse PDF files with
gay people in So straight guys that are homophobic or offended and just
see the sexual side of gay people instead of that
they are just more sensitive and open that is why many art gallery
dealers and art artist have multiple side
When I was young you were either straight gay or bisexual another words
you could do you like to men and women in my case I always was attracted

Very glamorous women for instance in movies hedy Lammarr, ann Sheridan.
Rita Hayworth, Marilyn Monroe I liked a lot of the sexy vampires that
were in horror films like the Hammer movie films I guess they would call
that vampire women and the bad girls even in Disney films I thought the
Sno Queen was sexy as well as all the femme fatale women like Joan
Bennett Scarlet Street etc....
Anyways I also sold Halloween costumes during Halloween and it was
always interesting because the timid women who were not very sexy always
wanted to dress up as the wicked witch or vampire or Elvira and the wild
women would actually dress up as a Little Bo Peep?
It was kind of a psychological interesting where people would want to be
there fantasy person
Alan Adler gets it as his dad sold lingere and i remeber Irving Klaw who
did all the bettie page pics.. both bettie and also vampira became born
again christians funny eh??
one of my friends was in la and he owned a art gallery in Beverly hills
and soldto whowho of Hollywood.. David w. Streets...he died of Cancer a
few years ago but was a big believer we had some great calls he was
close to sammy davis wife and Spago owner Barb Lazeroff and vera Goulet
Roberst widow// Davids was in debt and we talked about God and
forgivness....he was sorryas he had made mistakes on some deals he did
with others....i could tell he repented...
the angerand hate is becasue people cantsee someare just mild mannered
and sensitiveand considered odd....so they rebel and decide to
beoutsiders because they dont get judgeed....
wheni cam to la therwas a bar accross from my hotel thetropicana on
melroes wheni wentinthe doorman said welcome..this isa girls bar...!!me
beinga midwest dummy said wow Great i thoughtiam gonna get luckyin
mins..theni look around and allthe women were kissingand making
out,,,,,go ahead and laugh but i left with my tail between my
legs..LOL:)
sooooo overall i think mel Brooks said ifyou took thegaysand homosexual
outof Showbiz therwould be no show biz... i aggree.. same with art,
design. clothing.. furnishing style and design takes a lot of passion
and compassion for the art....
at same time i can relate to those who cannot accept Bi or gay..as they
dont want tosee that a mild mannered person does notmean they are
homosexual like Mr rogers was justya kind man.. andloved children I just
got books on him and also andy warhol..whowent tochurch every day... but
then the curch is being attacked also as yes some men and women did take
advantage of kidss......as wellas boy scouts...its notanyone problem all
people have sinned as soonas we hate anyone we become like the
haters,,,,,
Hey i cant fix it but Christ willand can so i pray for all people the
enemies, all colors,all races...as dna tells me we are all related...

on gay people who have a tendency to want to be a different gender

think that's wrong I am not here to judge anybody of what is wrong

right except that we should treat everybody regardless of age or

or color or race with respect and dignity and I believe love is the
key
not physical sexual love but kindness and respect and friendship in

case I love everybody

PROBLEMS THAN WE COULD EVER IMAGINE YOU HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF WHAT
