try the library of congress film archives they havelike every film ever made..i remeber Kwmp Niver transfered the paper negatives to 16mm printsand wona tech achievement Oscar® for doing it... Linwood Dunasc told me he gave the award to Kemp
you could also ask the Margret Herrick library at the AMPas

I believe the library of Congress would be your best source for finding the film I hope that helps you hope things are going well for you
