While Friday was SUPPOSED to be the final day in which to send your consignments to our 24th Annual Halloween Auction we are giving everyone 3 extra days in which to send your items!And remember you only have to SEND them on Monday; they don't have to ARRIVE by then. We know that lots of people end up waiting for the very last moment to consign, and this IS that last "moment"!If you DON'T get your 24th Annual Halloween Auction consignments on the way to us no later than September 11th (5 days from today), then you will have to wait until our December Major Auction (if they qualify for that, and many Halloween consignments don't), or worse yet, wait an entire year for our NEXT Halloween Auction!Why the extension? Because several long time consignors called or emailed and said they needed the weekend to get their tube or package ready, and rather than unfairly give them something no one else gets, we are giving EVERYONE three extra days!We have over 1,400 consignments already entered (see some of the better items in the previews at https://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign_major#2023halloween <https://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign_major#2023halloween> but know that some of the VERY best ones are still "in transit" to us!And we charge the lowest commissions of ANY major auction at every price level (and anyone who says different is flat out lying; see https://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign#intro <https://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign#intro> for absolute proof!).And we have auctioned more movie posters for more money than anyone in the world. Why consign anywhere else when you can consign to the best (and most honest and honorable) auction there is? I also guarantee you this will be almost surely our best Halloween auction EVER!What are we looking for? While we of course prefer great items, we will still accept ANY horror/sci-fi items of any kind, as long as they all have a minimum realistic retail value of $30 or more and are in nice condition.So, unlike our other major auctions, your items don't have to be real expensive, and in fact they don't have to be expensive at all! But it does REALLY help (both you and us!) if your items are rare, desirable, and in pretty nice condition (no matter what price range they are in). If they are not REALLY special, they will surely do better in our "regular" auctions, and the thing you most want (and we want!) is for your items to sell for the very most possible, and if they will do better in the regular auctions, that is where they should be!And of course, if you have been following our recent results, we have been "hitting it out of the park" with TONS of horror/sci-fi items, at EVERY price level!LOTS of posters that were $5 or $10 a few years ago are now $25, or $50, and LOTS that were $25 or $50 are now selling in the hundreds, and on and on! And don't get me started on some of the prices on expensive posters and lobby cards.Some of them have gone for ASTRONOMICAL prices in our recent auctions! Given all this, I don't see how anyone with ANY horror/sci-fi items to sell would not be sending them to us RIGHT NOW!*
