Yeah, those crooks are belligerent, aren't they? But as I hit "Send" on the eBay report, my imagination conjured some nasty piece of work named Chuey looking over my shoulder going "Dooglass, joo KNOW what we do to sneetches!!!"
A passing brain fart from my checkered past. I feel like an upstanding citizen who has done the Right Thing. I also feel like eBay will probably do absolutely nothing...but I will slip into the slumber of the righteous tonight.
By the way, my wife has approval of all posters that go into shared living areas. Lugosi's "The Invisible Ghost" passed muster and I'm so glad; it's my favorite poster in my collection and my favorite Lugosi image. She also loves "Virgin Sacrifice". "Such gorgeous colors", she said. I hactually ave approval to have it linen backed.
My office, on the other hand, looks like Times Square circa 1959.

Hey Greg.. this is a bit reminiscent of some thing I encountered recently… over the many years that I’ve been collecting my wife, kind of runs, hot and cold, more cold about me buying Posters… However, as I am now nearing the end of what I want to collect she tries to be helpful… I don’t participate in social media, Facebook, etc. but she does… The other day I was telling her what things I’m looking forward to finish off the collection… I guess she was receptive cause one of the things I mentioned was I was looking for the Spanish one sheet for the red shoes so she said let me try Facebook… And I said you’re wasting your time but she did and somebody got back to her and said oh I have that so my wife, after all these years is a bit savvy she says, can you tell me what the poster measures, and what does it say on the bottom or sides of the poster and the guy said it measures 27 x 40… My wife said well you have some sort of reproduction that’s not the original Spanish poster and the guy got fairly belligerent and said, what makes you think you know that it’s not an original I assure you it is… Anyway, I encourage her not to respond further … anyway hope all the mopoers had a healthy and happy Labor Day weekend..best to all Alan
