Believe it or not I have some of those ancient slideshow projectors one looks like it could be featured in the movie the time machine lots of chrome and probably from the 50s and they weigh like 30 pounds the shipping is the big problem I'd sell them cheap for like 50 bucks but it's getting it to the post office and shipping it UPS is gone crazy and FedEx

As far as the bulbs or lamps you can find them typically on eBay or there are various lamp sellers the ones that I have currently work but I never guarantee them because once they're tossed around in a truck bulbs's could fill I found a bunch of the paper cardboard slide carriers slide mounts are called on eBay and Etsy priced reasonable and I'm sure BNH photo might have some in New York City if you need a lamp just put in the search engine model and make of the lamp you need I still have a handful of lamps myself mostly for 16mm projectors or super eight projectors I have about 20 or 30 of them

All my projectors ran the last time I checked them out but they've been sitting around for 1020 years and anything can happen usually a rubber belt Mayfield or they're just lined up from lack of oil or lack of use it's practically impossible to warrantee an old movie projector because they can be working one minute and then fill the next minute typically what I check for is the oxidization on the lamp base a simple nail file can you rough up the temps usually brings back to life also using a contact cleaner can also takeoff the oxidization one of my hobbies was repairing old movie projectors and I found out that the Dalai Lama had the same hobby when he was a child I thought that was a real check but I had something related to the Dalai Lama funny world isn't it However I have not priced them lightly to see what the going market is and I'm sure like everything else there a lot of hucksters that are duping people with broken projectors just like fake movie posters every other kind of collectible my big thrill was when a family would contact me that we're trying to play old home movies because your family member just passed away and they wanted to see grandma again or grandpa and I would get them their projector running again that might've only needed a simple ball the look on their face of gratitude was worth $1 million to me that's why I've probably been a poor businees man as my big thrill was seeing people happy and content and soothed from stress... Don't get me wrong occasionally I would make money and that astounded me almost as much is not making money somehow between 89 and 90 when I started doing work for the movie studios I had gross sales of over $5 million however it seems like I paid out most of that money for parts and supplies and labor to make my products and miss manage the money add to that a failing marriage and doesn't take long to see I was headed in the wrong direction
Now I'm just like a sailboat in the ocean letting God direct my boat
It's funny the other day I got accused of being a artificial intelligence robot because I have conscious streaming of the way I write and I explain to the woman I think she was a college professor I explained I use my accessibility dictation on my iMac computer so I talking to the computer and it writes what I say açai was expelled from school 15 so I'm not super bright with grammar or spelling mopo has seen over the years when I have tried to write an email All I can say is it's more fun making people happy then it is to make people sad
God bless everybody

Good suggestions from Tom ..with a little craft you could make the
cardboard borders for the slides on yr own..as to viewing of course a
slide box ..easy and cheap and many available..if you want to project
on a screen or wall then you need one of the somewhat antique
projectors avail on eBay in various states of disrepair..some of these
use 500 watt bulbs and not always avail ..best Alan

I have a bunch of Glass Slides for various Boston Blackie movies.
At
least one of the smaller size Glass Slides is missing the
cardboard
frame which makes it a bit difficult to handle. I was wondering
if
there was any source for acquiring a few unused cardboard frames
that
I could use for those Glass Slides.

I'm still looking for a way to display the Glass Slides as well.
I was
thinking of some sort of light box.

Thanks,

Bill
