bruce and mopo-
packing 1sheets folded
I use a l-bar sealer 22 x17 shrink wrap the films is a film called
Clysar by i think Dupont, it can be shrunk after its sealed.. record
albums where done this way inthe 50 60 70s
I put 2 sheets of corrogated boardd on the poster and sandwich it.theni
place inthe shrink wrap machine itseals 2 sides andwelds theplastic so
its impervious to water ifthe box get wet or damp.. theni takea heat gun
and shrink it tight... I also use 1/16 inch etha foam to wrap the
posterand place in a priority mail box. i stuff foam around the inside
unit to give protectionagaints puncture
a lbar sealer new is like 2000.00
I have 2 units as i used in my productionof Clocks and clappers,,,
theroll of film are like 3500 center fold film so2 sides are already
seled andthe machine welds and cuts the other 2
almost all package is dont withshrink wrap..i also had tunnels thatwere
220 toconveyor shrink for volume\
I sold them
if you are on a budget you gat get a single straightarm on ebay from
china for like 100.00 to do small items itwil work on Mylaror PE. or
most films..ithas a hot wire that cuts it..I bought one just to have
forsmall projects...
they also make ready bags in mylar on ebay in like 25 count to do small
stuff
otherwise for retail i use Poly bogs from Bagas unlimited and get
corrogated sheets to back one sheets for retail display i give the
boards withthepostersale
when i get the boards best price is like 1000-2000 b-dflute vertical
flutes and they caot like 80 -100 each
I try to get white claycoat oneor both sides
It sells a posterat shows or retail shopand peopple can flip through
thetitles
it takes a talent to inset theposter without ripping however overtime
you learn the art ofinserting
Ive used the same for inserts as well..i but theboards from Bags
unlimited.
where i am at i get free shipping but tyheone sheets boards can take
lots of warehouse space as they can fill [allets like 2 8 foot high
so 20000 one sheets can cost you like 3 k to put on boards yet if the
posters retail for 20-30 each you havea decent Gross potential
if you have 50-100 do the math if a few 200-400 you can have lots of
fun///
I generally had 2-3000 poster on display in my shop ..rolled i would
putin rolled sleevessandfdisplayon wings andpeople could choose and find
the labeled poster in a rack for my smaller or commercial titles

Not yet registered to bid? Go to
https://auctions.emovieposter.com/Registration.taf [2] to sign up (we
qualify our bidders, something few auctions do, which means you will
always be bidding against real bidders who honor their bids).
And if YOU are not interested in these, but have friends who would be
(because they collect items like these or would find just one of
interest) then do us (and them!) a favor by helping spread the word to
them before these close! at
