Hello folks hope everybody had a good Thanksgiving I basically stayed
home and I did have some sweet potato pie and a small TV dinner my son
slept in his house so we never got together he's being treated for
mental illness and he's on medication now it's been a very weird
experience
The best dancer I've had for all this craziness is to pray for everybody
that seems to be the best dancer otherwise I think this is the craziest
time I've ever experienced in my life
I shared the podcast from film Director brett leonard and his son..brett
was from Toledo butis in La now
I went to the premiere of his first film called dead pit at the Glenburn
cinema in Toledo I can't remember what year it was I would guess in the
90s and it was an art house theater played foreign films you can look up
his bio on IMDb and I guess he's prolific in special effects digital
work one of his movies was the lawnmower Man
Anyways my son is traumatized by all the computer and underground stuff
that is going on on the worldwide web yes I do you rise many years ago
the affect of movies and video games on children matter fact tracing my
own life we were taught in the 50s that the Cowboys were the good guys
and the Indians were the savage bad guys
Yeah any history buff knows that the Indians were sold out by bad deals
with the white man and then in my area George Custer who lived up in
Monroe Michigan they poisoned the blankets with smallpox to kill off the
Indians and then ran out west also the Chinese were abused as they were
hired to make the railroads so much in history was written by the ones
that conquered and wrote the history books but thank God for the people
that share the truth the underground real ran through Toledo actually
Sylvania Ohio and was founded by a woman name sojourn truth I learned
about this in 1967 at the heights of the race riots in Detroit as I went
to a partially black school in 19 66-67 I made the comment one day that
wasn't it nice to Lincoln freed the slaves in a gang of kids beat me up
black girls actually because they said Lincolnton free the slaves
sojourn truth dead
Yes I'm sure David kusomoto could write a book on the internment camps
for the Japanese that we did during World War II there was so many
racist actions taken against many people including the Irish the
Italians the Germans and the British my family came here from Bermuda
which is a British UK island and still is a UK isle
My father side immigrated here from Sicily so both sides of my family
are immigrants ironically they came to the Toledo Ohio in 1947 as two of
the sisters married ex GIs that were in World War II from the army and
navy and Air Force
Anyways I voted for Jimmy Carter in 1976 and in 1960 my grandmother took
me to see John F Kennedy at the courthouse downtown Toledo the guy was
so Christmas I still remember and I was only five years old I just found
out today Kennedy was 43 and 1960 the youngest president ever
I can relate because I was 43 when I got my divorce in the year 2000 I
am now 67 I can't believe the stuff I've experienced in my lifetime and
when I've heard stories from my grandparents and mother about the
depression and how my grandfather fought in 1918 in World War I as a
British doughboy and my my father was a sergeant in the US Marine Corps
and fought in Korea my uncles were in world war two I think war is
insane and I was all ready to be drafted in 1972 into Vietnam but I was
a peace loving kid that love the Beatles and anything about peace and
love and just one they were ready to draft me they stop the draft I
think it was Nixon that stopped it although I have many friends who
served in Vietnam one of them worked for me and used to load the bombs
on the coral sea aircraft carrier for the US Navy and all of them have
been stricken with either agent orange or PTSD
However wars make lots of money because if you see the cost of a jet
fighter or a battleship or any of the armaments it is unbelievably
costly money and that's why are you see the government spending and why
the issues with Ukraine and Taijuan and Israel are focused on sending
more weapons instead of finding ways to make peace it's been the focus
of mankind since they came up with the atomic bomb and before going back
to BC so mankind doesn't appear to have learned a lesson and now we have
moved from the analog days to the digital digital age and now have
introduced artificial intelligence where the entire world of reality is
being blurred and no one knows what is real or what is fake in the news
media or in motion pictures or in commerce and especially in politics
Spin Doctors and like have been around a long time to try to sway the
vote but now it is reached the point where we don't know who is who or
what is what are foods are being manipulated with bio engineering the
medicines and vaccines are also being manipulated to where they have no
idea what effect it's going to have long-term
From what I understand people are so fearful of what's the future in
live and the older generation baby boomers are all getting very ill and
sick like me and have become cash cows for insurance companies in the
medical industry just like the weapons the elderly are prime targets for
medical care and most of the young people are choosing to put their
parents in nursing homes which I went in for about 30 days with one of
the most horrible experiences I've ever had the workers are low-paid and
many of them are unhappy with their jobs so the service is very sad I
asked for plant based diet and they would serve me all kinds of heavy
sugar and carbohydrate type foods that would make my blood sugar spike
so I would actually not eat the food and tell them just bring me a salad
please so I was able to work around it even with my illness of diabetes
sad part was they asked me what I would like to eat and I told them but
they would still bring me sweeten drinks tiny little cakes and various
unhealthy foods also the facility was supposed to be a Catholic-based
organization and only one time did anybody ever come to consult me or
any kind of clergy I received communion on ash Wednesday and that was it
I never saw a representative from any church so it was a little lonely
not having any kind of comfort from clergy
So you might ask me what is the good news Tom?? I would answer the good
news is everything is following scripture I have spoke to my Muslim fr
iends Christian friends and Hindu friends and we all agree that the
current events are following what Christ told us was going to happen
before he came back
I think God's plan is happening justice Christ told us 2000 years ago to
his disciples and I think it will have a good ending but that it might
get a little rough before it gets better so the best answer is prayer
and keep asking God to do his will for all the innocent people that are
being killed needlessly remember this is been going on for ages and yet
in the book of Isaiah it is sad that the weapons will be turned into
plowshares and my hope is that we will stop producing all the plastics
that is dumped in the ocean and find ways to recycle and clean up the
Earth and to find peace and brotherhood between all the different
religions and faith in races and cultures
Please Putin and Zelinski stopthe war,please Israel and Gaza and middle
east stop the war,,please Taiwan china and east stop the war,,USA and
nato -rebuild the cities and grow food and help the KIds see Perace
Religion gets blamed for why there is dissension however it is the
corruption of man's mind and lack of empathy that is the root of the
problem in my opinion let's just hope that people wake up and start
teaching their children love forgiveness and empathy
My prayer is that God will step in and stop all this nonsense that is
going on in our world today I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy
new year God bless you and your family and hang in there and do positive
things for your neighbors and friends and love each other
