Richard, You didn't mention whose auction this was but if it is who I think it is.... I'm not surprised at all. I guess you didn't attend any of the Christie's East auctions in the 1990's? If you did, you would have witnessed, just like every other person there who was paying attention, the shenanigans which went on, time and time again.
