I've always lamented that many don't learn - (except via brief summary snippets during the February broadcast) - who gets honorary Oscars for Lifetime Achievement - because they're given out at the Governor's Awards in the fall. David Lynch picked up his in October 2019. Sometimes I get the feeling that the board waits too long to bestow them, e.g., still waiting for Ridley Scott to get his from AMPAS.

Frank and David were going to work on a film together but Frank died. They're working together now.
