I’m amazed at the staying power of this little group. On February 24, 1995 the first post via American University’s listserv was made. Prior to that, the “early-adopters” just used their e-mail programs to CC the other members. Crude, yes…but it worked. Original member Adam Erhlich was a student at American University in 1995 and was able create the group on AU’s listserv. I’m surprised AU still supports the old-school listserv mailing list software after 31 years…but thankful they do! Here are those who were here on that first listserv day: Mahtab Moayeri, Michael Danese, Rob Ellis, Donna Tschetter, Goh Kai Shen, Evan Zweifel, George Nichol, Jeff Static (using AOL name Static555), Cindy Nemeth-Johannes, Adam Ehrlich, and myself.
