were approached by a man who has been a MAJOR Elvis fan since he was young,
and he accumulated a huge amount of Elvis memorabilia of all sorts, plus 45
and 33 rpm records, plus posters!Since he knew that Elvis had passed away
on August 16,1977, he wanted this auction to start on the very day of
Elvis' passing, and we agreed to do so. This is because the Elvis museum
people hold annual celebrations around the time of his passing, and they
have graciously agreed to promote this special auction to all their
visitors, and mailing list members through their website, pod cast, and

means our FINAL deadline to consign for Halloween is August 21st, just 5

always go with the first one received (to be fair) so if you put off

LONG AS they are solidly $50+ (in nice condition) or $100+ (in lesser
condition). And we do "stretch the rules" slightly to include James Bond,
Star Wars and Walt Disney fantasy cartoons), because they are so popular.
And speaking of popular, we REALLY want lots of 1970s and 1980s drive-in
stuff, which is doing so very well lately!And we have made one very
important change to consigning. We have had the rule about $50+ (in nice
condition) or $100+ (in lesser condition) for well over a year now, and it
is working out great, getting low value items out of our auctions.THE
CHANGE IS THAT LINENBACKED ITEMS MUST BE SOLIDLY $200+ in nice condition
(or solidly $300+ if the poster is in less than our "very good"). Our last
several major auctions have had 100 or 200 much lesser posters that were
solely included because they were linenbacked, and we don't want this
anymore AT ALL, So bear this in mind before sending consignments for our
