I never handled this one, but both Bruce and Heritage have auctioned it, so apparently they are both convinced the poster is authentic.
This is another one that comes with the legend that 'only a handful' were printed. The question is, what exactly does that mean? The print run for the official posters must've been in the upper five digit range, probably even higher.
Compared to that, even a 'test run' of 500 might qualify as a 'handful'.
My guess is that they are most likely original, but it seems that someone found a number of them. Maybe twenty, maybe 200. Who knows.
This reminds of the International Style US Onesheet for AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON, a poster that once upon a time was seriously rare. Until a well known US dealer found a stack of them about three years ago. When I bought one from him (for a fairly high price) in 2023 he told me he had purchased about ten copies. Since then, he put one of them in any major auction and additionally sold a large number on ebay. My rough estimate is that he auctioned at least 40-60 copies by now, plus an unknown number he sold through his website. And they keep coming.
Who knows how many more of those ESB posters might still be sitting on someone's shelf. My feeling is that we will see a lot more of these coming as well.
Personally, I like the design but I will most definitely stay away from this one.

It just seems odd that it just appeared when only two were known yet now even bruce say this is his 11th time auctioning off the piece but doesnt know how many times he re-auctioned them.
It seems to me that anytime a person needs an extra $10k, they run to the printer.
I do love the poster but I can't just pull the trigger as it just seems it was a figment of someone's imagination
