In what sense are 'those in society who "make money".' the same as 
(equal to) the 'Academy'?

And which is it, SOME pure intellectual pursuits, such as philosophy, 
are made possible by those in society who "make money",  or ALL pure 
intellectual pursuits, such as philosophy, are made possible by those 
in society who "make money"?

And where is the quote that, ALL or SOME, it is something RMP thinks?
