I think what is significant about what you say
here, is (1) useful and (2) harmonious. Knowledge
without any use does nothing so what value does it
have. And doing this in a harmonious way encourages
good practice/living and if that's one goal, well,
doing this harmoniously puts one on the path already
to practicing good. I don't think harmony means NO
rough spots. If somebody can't get by the rough
spots, then that would mean, to me, that harmony is
not being met. If somebody mets rough spots, and is
able to handle them with good effort, then I would say
harmony is present still.
