Hiya Marsha, I'm glad you like Don van Vliet's words; the ones I've posted are all song lyrics though he did write poetry too. When you first listen to some of his music it can sound like chaos and the words as if they might have been picked at random out of a newspaper or something, but then you notice connections and you guess at what he might have meant and gradually the lyrics take on a definite meaning.
