Jeez Platt, What on earth has socialism to do with social level thinking ?!?
Chris explained a context of "why he'd call himself a socialist" - the same kind of intellectual reasoning many a socialist (or social democrat like I might call myself) would use. Can you not see any difference between a totalitarian socialists and a social democrats ? Can we not switch off the trigger reflex in your head that says social = raving pinko. individual = the final word on anything.
