Hi Ian,
That's Octavio Paz, with a z. Sorry for misspelling his name.
I'm presently reading 'The Labyrinth of Solitude'. It is composed of
essays about Mexico and her people. Fascinating! Also some
interesting comparisons to North Americans. I find these the most
fascinating. It's hard to see yourself ("Americans"), so his
observations are very helpful.
The essays are wonderful, but his poetry has my heart.
