Greetings,
My bedroom overlooks the lake and is very high because the place was
built on a steep hill. I'm reading "The split between women and men
plays kindly into the hands of empire-builders, slave masters and

pitting one's thoughts against one' feelings, one's body against
one's spirit, one's political vocation against personal needs, people
against the earth, animals and nature in general." I look out the
window and an huge eagle lands on the branch nearby. It's there for
about 5 minutes just looking around. Then I notice a little bird
near the eagle bobbing up and down. The eagle flies off across the lake.
