SA: This is what I've been focusing on in my life,
more and more recently. The knowing of something
familiar that has me view that I can't say anything
else that will add to this. It is this affirmation
that may have been what I was looking for, all those
years of learning something, trying to find out if all
the great ideas and experiences of the past have
something more to offer to an understanding that needs
more voice of 'see it is this way', but then since it
is this way - now what. This living it out, without
having to convince others, yet, when others don't
agree, understand, or argue against what I'm living,
then may have me pull out sources of matter to show
the evidence for what I knew all along. Whether this
is scientific data, scriptures (sutras), or an
experience I may have had while walking in the woods
that plays out in a way that surely others couldn't
doubt. All of this, though, seems to lead to wonder,
not wander, and thus why the deliberate use of wander,
not wonder, when I walk along writings or woods. For
I am a critic and I am looking for affirmation, but
why? Sometimes it seems to push back the boundaries
of others so they may see where I am and I hope they
don't step on me, even in thought, to argue against a
thought can be an argument against how one is living
in effort, not in lifestyle, though this happens to,
but in how one is trying to live. Thus, the political
battles, the ideological battles, for we each know
ideas can lead to acts. These acts can become further
institutionalized, and then what? So we go on
discussing our metaphysical understanding so certain
intentions survive in this world ones we find that
affirm our reality, not only in thought, but ones we
think we are living or intending to live.
And the hawk flying outside this window, at this
very moment, affirms everything.
