I always tends to think of Einstein as one of those scientists whose
belief in God is to do with cosmic awe and respect for nature as a
whole - a metaphor for that, like many a good scientist, rather than
any kind of faith or religion. He did of course say many different
things to different audiences, and the "Jewish question" has been
responsible for a lot of social influence on intellect over the years
- Einstein would be no different.
