Yes, these stories were very entertaining though Mati’s (relatively dry) lecture wasn’t featured in the DVD. However, a text version of it can be found with text versions of Mark Maxwell’s paper and the full version of Ian Glendinning’s presentation at robertpirsig.org. Moreover, after a delay of three years, a transcript for Khoo Hock Aun’s Conference speech is now available at robertpirsig.org. Many thanks to David Harding for transcribing this from the original video footage and to Khoo for then rewriting this "literal" transcript to improve how it scans as a written piece. > Khoo Hock Aun giving a (selfmade?) painting to RMP, DMB at the > lectern peering scholarly atop his glasses. The interview with Ronald > DiSanto I guess was made in beforehand. No, the interview with Ron DiSanto was made in September 2006 as part of the privately funded ZMM road trip. (BTW, though it’s easy to get confused about who did what, when etc. with this filming. For instance, a “BBC person” was involved with funding the July 2005 Liverpool footage but not the September 2006 ZMM trip). > I'd only wish that the > video had been texted - even in English - not easy to follow the > various drawls and dialects (had I been there you would have had another:) I am considering placing subtitles and/or narration where the conversations are held in noisy environments. I don’t know about a film dedicated to that subject exactly but I think this subject will be covered in the forthcoming films in some form or another. The next one to be made public later this year will be orientated around the 1968 ZMM road trip. > A million thanks Anthony. My pleasure Bodvar. It’s great to hear that the viewers of the first DVD have largely enjoyed it. Best wishes, Anthony “There are going to be times when we can't wait for somebody. Now, you're either on the bus or off the bus. If you're on the bus, and you get left behind, then you'll find it again. If you're off the bus in the first place then it won't make a damn.” Ken Kesey Quoted by Tom Wolfe in Chapter 11 of the “Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test” (1968) _________________________________________________________________ Play and win great prizes with Live Search and Kung Fu Panda http://clk.atdmt.com/UKM/go/101719966/direct/01/ Moq_Discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/
