Hi Ham --
Ron: > If Value is dependent on being and the Knower, > self and being are one and moral. > If it is dependant on both, value is known and realized. Ham: You win the prize! Value is dependent on the 'being-aware' dichotomy. Ron: This is what I meant by "we are experience." this does not have to be viewed as a dichotomy. Dependency implies that dichotomy is an illusion. if value is dependant then dichotomy is a meaningless term. Ham: Which means that Value is conditional and contingent upon the existential relation of self to other. Ron: self and other are dependant, dependency implies that they do not and can not exist separately. Ham: It also means that Value (= Quality) is not the fundamental (true) reality, Ron: Experience is not the fundamental true reality, but nether can we know fundamental true reality in any sort of absolute sense. Therefore what is true is dependant upon ones experience. This is not nihilism, this places truth and meaning in the realm of the being-aware. This is an active responsibility not a definition. This is the development of free agency.
