What is relevent is what the student identifies as good evidence & conclusions
supported by that evidence. Once the student is able to so identify good
evidence & conclusions, the school has done its job  ***in regard to
Paleontology.

Inserting the word "good" here places us right back in the boat. When
considering anthropology or paleontology, is the "Bible" a source of good
evidence and conclusions? No matter how you slice it, the Academy has to make
value judgments on information of some sort. It would be impossible not to. And
once you are in that arena, it becomes "exclusionary" to some information while
"privileging" other information.

A school should, however, also teach "Critical Thinking" such as the connection
between recognizing good evidence & belief formation.***

>From day one I've been championing "critical thinking" as a key, if not THE
key, to successful education. So this part of the whole thing I have no problem
with.
