Hello All,
Ron Paul's been predicting this for years and I've been trying to educate
myself on his economic perspective and he is making quite a bit of sense. I've
been seeing spending being passed this week and last such as a defense bill Ron
Paul mentions here that is between 600-700 billion dollars. Then another bill
for 600-700 billion dollars, too, for federal funds that includes a 25 billion
dollar package to automakers in the U.S. I keep hearing about how big this 700
billion dollar bailout is - I mean 700 billion dollars! Right. Well, it seems
the U.S. passes bills this large. Though large, it is apparent that the U.S.
gov't passes bills with these large sums and this bailout proposal is not an
unusually odd high amount of money. I kept thinking, wow, that's a huge
number, and that's all I keep hearing about, how large of a dollar number that
is; but in the last two weeks two bills (I could only find two bills, maybe
their were more spending
bills in this time period I don't know) were already passed for over 1
trillion dollars. So for me, this dollar amount need not fool me that it is
something extraordinary for the U.S. to try to spend in one bill.
