woods and Platt'

That's how I see this. We will have intellectual patterns, but we are not
to get
carried away and to tie in what mel brought up, overload the social system
with
all these numbing policies. The clap-trap. I believe mel said deliberate
overload
which is a bold statement.

Lets not get carried away. Here is a sober, 'level-headed' spov speaking. I
really am too tired at the moment to respond properly to this persuit and
thank you that I appear to finally contribute something positive to the
discuss. But Pirsig spoke of this (Lila p 306) when he suggested that
knowledge, when growing away from its historical purpose (protecting and
making possible continuation of parent i.e. social povs...my interpretation)
becomes an end in itself.
Roger Waters puts it so nicely in one of his songs: 'Give anyone species too
much rope and they'll fuck it up"( Amused to Death).

It should be a good thread and maybe it is time that we need to reconsider
the automatic moral stance that a higher level of morality is always in the
right( and overriding) when talking about a lower level 'interference' .
Given the context within which we are talking. I do believe that the child (
Int.PoV) flamboyant...free, has grown away from its parent ( Soc PoV)
responsible, historical awareness. Maybe they first need to learn from
eachother. They need to talk to eachother in the same way as we are doing
now in this Discuss.
I am further suggesting of course that the best way to thank your parents is
to criticise them, but that, before you do so, you understand where your
parents have come from, what they have achieved, how you can latch these
achievements with integrity and build on from these inspired by DQ.

I am falling off my chair.

Just a thought and thank you for your support. I'm a poet and I don't even
know it.
