Hi Marsha,
Thank you for making me aware of this series...I am thoroughly enjoying them
and once again it struck me that the biggest handicap we seem to have as
human beings is that we apparently have to filter our immediate
experience through a blob of neural activities called the brain enabling us
to be aware/make sense of the experience and enabling us to communicate this
experience.(the time-lag Pirsig talks about in ZMM).
This removal almost onto the third-person position giving rise to the
resorting to theoretical postulates about us and about what is real and what
not ( ha! science as a guide?!!) seems like an incredible price to pay.
Concepts and theories and hypotheses... . Proof and disproof .

I would almost go as far as suggesting that every level below the social
knows exactly what is going on because they are it, organic and inorganic as
a living (!) example and representation of it. Completely interdependent,
(as we humans like to call it) and to which some of us have such an
aversion. (individual rights, property rights, carrying a gun rights, say
what you want rights etc etc)

Some of this went through me as I watched and heard these clips and I
realised we have the balance completely wrong. We do not know one iota of
what is going on. We just think we do.

'When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, speaking
words of wisdom, let it be'.

Anyway, thanks again Marsha.
