Ham to Andre:
Oh yes, let's praise disaster and evil for their "bonding power" which
brings us all together. How clever of Nature to provide these
inconveniences to cleanse our souls and moralize our behavior! Seriously,
do you really believe this is the physical universe "guiding us" to
betterness?

Andre:
I am glad you said 'Seriously...' Ham. And I do dare state that it
appears that inorganic and organic PoV's sometimes 'show' social and
intellectual PoV's what is important. This is no comment on inorganic
or organic PoV's but says lots about the level of quality (in terms of
high/low) of some dominant social and intellectual PoV's.

Ham:
You say "the secret lies in DQ/SQ."
(It's certainly a secret to me.)

Andre:
After all these years Ham? Then why bother with the MoQ and this Discuss?

Ham:
As for myself, I shall continue to enjoy the Freedom of individual
subjectivity which the MoQ does not support but which existence does.

Andre:
Ayn Rand's 'Objectivism' through and through. The MoQ says the
'individual' is a collection of static patterns capable of
apprehending Dynamic Quality.
'Existence'???

But go on Ham, enjoy your free individual subjectivity. Actually, your
post inspired me to read T.S Eliot:

'Those who have crossed
With direct eyes,to death's other Kingdom
Remember us - if at all-not as lost
Violent souls, but only
As the hollow men
The stuffed men'
