>From the US Amazon website:
This DVD offers some insight into Persig's book but the video and sound quality
is terrible. The flashback video style is annoying and takes away from what is
being said. Some of the sequences are supposed to appear as they were taken
from Persig's original bike trip except the cars in the back round are modern
so while the video may look like vintage 8mm film from Persig's trip in
actuality it was shot in the recent past. Disappointing.

I haven't seen 'On the Road with Viral marketing', so i don't know if this is
so, but, 'Some of the sequences are supposed to appear as they were taken from
Persig's original bike trip except the cars in the back round are modern so
while the video may look like vintage 8mm film from Persig's trip in actuality
it was shot in the recent past.'
Surely some mistake?
Is this gentlemen seriously suggesting that footage has been faked with an
intension to deceive?

Who would do such a thing for Pete's sake?
I mean, that would be a bit like trumpeting a fake paper as high quality and
then going to extreme lengths in order to try and hide the fact it ever
existed. Or something.
