Thank you John,

Returned home yesterday and I'm feeling a bit disoriented.

Your daughter's poem is very beautiful and mirrors somehow the way I feel.

How to return? The peak full moon is tomorrow and called the Cold Moon,
though it is difficult of me to think of the moon as ever being cold.

Maybe I should paint to express the beauty of sons and mothers.

Love,
  Marsha

Subject: [MD] What moon is it?

Today, my son's birthday, I saw the moon hanging in the sky, I thought of
Marsha.

I miss Marsha.

My girls are all back at school for a short interlude before winter break,
but I found a notebook paper with a poem and a drawing on it from my oldest,
Em. I thought it was really good anyway, but even more apropos with certain
other threads commenting upon thistles and ...

I wondered if you loved me.

I heard tell of a game

to ask a flower if

you might feel the same

I picked a pretty thistle

It said "she loves you not"

my finger started bleeding

which hurt

and so I stopped.
