Perhaps Pirsig is just referring to the church. Perhaps his notion of theism is quite different from yours. Please describe what anti-theism is. If you are just exchanging one belief system for another how can you sit there and say that yours is not a belief based on faith above all. All this talk about plate tectonics and oxygen. The is just parroting the Holy book. Such blind belief is not only not intellectual, it is dangerous.
