I never got that quite till Pirsig, the whole "love of money" thing. What?
But "love" is where we put our source of value. And money is a social pattern. Loving money is an immorality, subjecting an intellectual value to a social one. But its not just "a" immorality. It's "the" immorality, for there is no evil in nature, only the intellect of man is capable of evil, when it subjects intellect to social or biological satisfactions alone. Or loves money. I start a full time job monday, working for a new organization, Soleil Farms, we're gonna teach permaculture and Fukuoka Gardening and sell clay-seed balls to the local nursery. And they are only about five minutes from my house. Woo hoo! Minimum wage is a lot when I'd be glad to do it for free.
