Not mockery, Marsha. Think rather homage.

Except maybe for that song, I think you'd like Dan Bern. He writes some
philosophically insightful song, he does.

But I'm glad you asked because there is a point to it, besides the relevancy
of a tiger woods reference and a quote I found apropos - "It ain't braggin'
if its true", and the point is that as a yang-oriented person, I can't
accept "not this, not that".

Too nebulous. Too wishy-washy, too negative. Nothing is posited, nothing
achieved.

I must project a positive idea about reality. Sure it's impossible to be
absolutely correct from all perspectives. Sure it's as futile as
pre-planning the perfect chess opening. But there's something in my soul
that whispers, "aw go ahead and do it anyway" It might be construed as
degenerate activity, naming the unnameable, but like other degenerate
activities we males are drawn to, we just gotta do it anyway.

But this isn't a criticism of the quality you find in your formulation. Not
at all. It's a realization that we (MD) need differing POVs, and need the
mystery formulations in the hands of someone that knows how to wield 'em.

So no, not mockery at all. But metaphysical speculation ain't for sissies,
and I gotta thrust my conceptions out at the cosmos. It's an irresistable
urge, if ya got the balls to do it.

But mock you Marsha? Heaven forbid. They're not THAT big.
