I will only remind you of the intelligence-intellect fallacy that has
brought this discussion away from the static intellectual level, again
and again. The cells follow their biological value patterns, but very high
up in the biological realm the neural complexity grew to clusters called
"brain" and now experience could be stored (RAM) and brought back
into "chache memory" where it (earlier experience) is manipulated (run
through logical gates) "if I do this so will happen ..." resulting in altered
behavior. THIS IS INTELLIGENCE and it is all biological, but it will be
adapted and used by the later (social and intellectual) levels in turn,
but regrettably form many intelligence has become intellect - the level.
There has also been too much nonsense said about intelligence,
intellect and even consciousness at the inorganic and low biological
strata.
BTW.
Have you been to the Eben Emal fortress? It's some way from your
Zelzate but .... I recently read about the German paratroop attack
there in 1940. Why they had to secure that particular place I don't
quite get, it looks as if they could march into Belgium near Aachen,
but well, there surely were reasons. I guess it is a museum place now.
I had hoped to come there some day.
