Ok, ok Ian

I heard you the first time, this is the 3rd. Thanks for the heads up.

I honestly don't pay much attention to quotes other than their face value, so especially such personal pads on the back goes straight to the bin. This time though, I think Platt and I got off in a good direction, perhaps because we don't have much recent personal grudge, I don't know. So even if it is a diversion, it's a very pleasant one. Reminds me of the early days and might just encourage others to follow a similar tone. Perhaps even newcomers.

Speaking of LC, I actually have a few comments from RMP in LC that I'm quite dissatisfied with. He outright criticises *me*, can you imagine that! :) So, if anyone cares to look through those comments, I'm game.

One more time.
Bo and Platt regularly divert attention away from the dishonesty of
their argument with this selective quote from Lila's Child:

"God knows the MOQ has never had two better friends than Bo and
Platt, so this is no criticism of their otherwise brilliant thinking."

Which is Bob's polite rhetorical lead in to damning them with faint
praise, since Bob's immediate following sentence is ...

"It's just that I see a lowering of the quality of the MOQ itself if
you follow this path"

Whatever the relative merits of Bo's SOL interpretation and any
orthodox Pirsigian view (arguments welcome, for ever), Bob does not
endorse it, in fact he explicitly brands it low quality.

To claim otherwise is a simple lie.
